(CNN) -- One person was killed and seven others injured Saturday when shots were fired at the Eaton Centre shopping mall in Toronto, police said.
Six of the victims suffered gunshot wounds and one was grazed by a bullet, they said. The eighth victim was a pregnant woman who was knocked to the ground in the melee and suffered minor injuries. Two of the victims are in critical condition, including a 13-year-old boy, police said.
"At this time, we do not have the shooter," said Constable Victor Kwong with the Toronto police in response to a reporter's question, declining to provide more details. (Clink news link for further details)

@weada The only gun violence in Toronto comes from the black "gangsta" community. Most of the time when fire arms are recovered, they are traced back to stolen American guns. Only the Middle East, Africa and the US is it legal to carry an AK-47 on your back. All three are naturally violent places. This is rare in Canada.

You cant carry a pistol in canada. I wonder how the shooter was allowed to get a gun and carry it. Thats right. He doesnt give a shit about the law. He knew no one else could be armed, unless it was another criminal. Gun laws dont work.

@zombieman There's plenty of security footage but for obvious reasons it isn't being released.
As for not getting caught, it isn't difficult to disappear into a panicking crowd of hundreds of people in a mall with (in that area) at least four immediate exits, two of which go into the subway system.
