  • This was produced 1999, when we still had a chance of rescuing our debt. With all the unfunded debts and liabilities, we are now in excess of $100 trillion.

  • He had a series called, I believe, "Free to Choose" several years ago. What he said sounded good. He later went to a South American country (don't remember which one) as an economic adviser and put his ideas into action. It wasn't long before their economy collapsed. Thomas Sowell would know about that. He and Milton were friends.

    • @TMoray1

There is apparently much more to 'the miracle of chile' that you do not remember beyond which country it was.

    • @fishdontfeelpain I'm sure that's true.

Didn't intend to seem disrespectful toward Chile in any way. Actually, I did think it was Chile but wasn't sure.

  • Friedman? That man is regarded worst than Hitler in most parts of the world.
He and his dummies killed 4000 chileans for the sake of free markets, he doesn't believe in freedom at all, he's a full fledged sociopath, imperialist bigot, not to mention his policies collapsed the economy and the government had to take action to prevent a catastrophe
