Beirut Car Bomb Attack and Aftermath

Jan. 25, 2008 - "A car bomb killed a police intelligence officer and three other people on Friday in an attack in the heart of a Christian suburb of Beirut.

The officer, Capt Wisam Eid, 31, worked as an expert on terrorist bombings for an intelligence unit widely viewed as close to Saad Hariri, the leader of the anti-Syrian ruling coalition.

The unit has frequently been criticised by the Syrian-backed opposition.

  • Lebanon is the only country in the world's history who had a civil war, with absolutely no change in the governement before, and after the war...
    Lot's of people and countries to blame there...
    But let's stop complaining, and try to do something about it for the 1st time in 60 years, like teaching your kids to try to use their brain, and not repeating in a very stupid way what you think is right concerning situations like this...
