1. reproduce the results. if you can't, you're wrong.
2. if your yardstick is something as complicated as a system of satellites, ground sensors, EMR, and human beings managing the whole mess, i laugh. not that i don't appreciate GPS but if you're going to assert something about The fundamental law of the universe as we know it, ya better use something less frail or at least be able to repeat your results many many times, using many many systems.

@darthmullet1 I thought the experiment was recreated elsewhere and showed the same result. But still, the supernova argument is very strong.

I like this guy. He's a bit commercialist, but he explains things on a very basic level.

He is another Carl Sagan, making extremely complex abstract ideas easily understood by those of us with IQs below 200. Michio,Stephen,Einstein and the late Carl Sagan will forever be shining examples of humanity.

M Kaku blows my mind! Sounds so simple when explained by him.
Having been in the CERN complex, seen black boards in lined-up offices filled with crazy stuff , and the huge collider, I can assure you that these guys are the most brilliant minds around. And we owe them a lot of our comfort today.

But wouldn't that just be light that traveled, and not time? Lets just say, we travel faster than light and got so far ahead that we could see ourselves coming toward ourselves. That doesnt mean that time was altered, it just means that we can see the past not go into the past.

This guy's a national treasure.
That sounds like the most plausible explanation. People were pretty quick to jump on that band wagon at the first announcement last year. Thankfully, our one constant, is still a constant. :-)

Einstein was already wrong.
His equations predict infinite gravity at the singularity of a black hole.
He was righter than anyone else, though.
