  • I see no proof that he is actually in Syria. All the video is him in a van or sitting on some steps.

  • What ever happened to "report the news, don't BE the news"

  • This is totally surreal!

    'sneak into Aleppo'??

They can just fly in to Aleppo airport and get a taxi to downtown. What a stupid journalist stunt!

Folks! Aleppo is 95% functional and most places are quite peaceful.

simply false. you can't get a media pass in syria unless you're one of few select organizations like russia today or press tv (iranian gov owned).

      You spout nonsense.

Officially accredited journalists have been in Syria at least since the 'uprising'

The very first Western journalist to be killed was on an official trip to Homs. He was some Frog with no political agenda at all.

You can buy a ticket today to fly into Aleppo International Airport today. You can also get a visa to allow journalist style reporting without interference.

    • @DEADBEEF

CNN cannot get a press pass in there, plain and simple, as many others can't. that is just a simple fact.

sure you can buy a ticket to aleppo, but what about all the video and recording equipment? customs would take it away from you on the spot so the only alternative is to sneak in

      Yeah right!

Australia is at place 30, underneath such renowned bastions of press freedom as Mali, Surinam, Namibia!, Slovakia.

Pull the other one. It has bells on it.

  • Lol just like hillary clinton 'under sniper fire' at an airport and the fake cnn newscast in saudi arabia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTWY14eyMFg

Complete load of shit if I ever saw one. No firing. If I owned a media company, paid for some shmucks to go to Aleppo and then return without any footage of the area, I'd fire them!

  • Why sneak in? CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, Pelosi, Kerry, Reid, Kucinich, and a host of other democratic party officials and operatives were really good friends of Assad when he was letting al Qaeda operatives flow into Iraq during the Bush years. They'd go visit and tout what a reformer he is. Why don't they just go to Assad again and have Syrian troops usher them around?
