@xerodfx What do you mean? The minigun has been around since vietnam and mounted on just about everything the military has at some point. Here is a picture of one on an APC in vietnam. Two of them actually :)

@Epic_Beard_Man Not that mini gun. I was in the ARMY never saw 1 in 2 yrs of being in Afghanistan. A Browning .50 cal machine gun was standard.

@xerodfx While I've never fired either I would think the .50 would be a more versatile weapon. It can punch through walls and heavy cover a lot better than a 7.62. It probably also takes a lot of training to use the minigun and not waste 1000 rounds of ammo in a hurry.

@Epic_Beard_Man It does but its one bullet fully auto, where the mini gun is 7rds, or 6rds. Aim isn't much of a requirement with the mini gun. The chance of missing is greatly reduced, with that hot spray action. Id bet there are 7.62 rds on that bad boy.

@stra What are you smoking? The casings are brass, not gold... Each bullet is less than $1 each if you buy them in packs of 20. The military obviously gets them much cheaper since they buy them by the millions.
