what's the big deal? They're using cold-patch. Its a temporary fix until the warmer weather comes and you can grade and repave.

What's the problem? You don't repave roads before spring because the frost makes them heave.

They do this in many rural areas in the United States where potholes are rampant. Where I live, they fill in the potholes with gravel as a temporary solution until they resurface the road.

@nubex Haha people bitch about their cities. Come to fucking the Pac NW where it rains A LOT. At least in Seattle we have the pothole patrol and are supposed to show within a day. If it froze a little more often here I dont know how the roads would survive
