  • AMBUSH

    Most overworked military word in the English Language.

    A basic miltary contact is automatically turned into an ambush on LL.

    There are a lot of real ambushes on LL. Usually they start with an IED and then incoming flank fire.

    Most 'first person shooter' vids are a basic contact and response.

    I know I'll never win, but at least let me register my complaint.

    • this is a repost of an imbed catching the firefight.
      These guys going into combat with camera's are always at the ready for a $$ $hot.
      They are recording history and upload it to some part of the net where keyboard warriors tend to spin it to their liking

    • They say that the enemy fired a RPG in front of a bridge at one of the vehicles at the front while on patrol and that they were surrounded on all sides. During the firefight he said they were still surrounded from all sides. That's an ambush to me.
      You can hear them shout: "Spread out, don't cluster."

  • first I thought they were just shooting around and they enemy already ran away, but at 5:07 you'll see a bullet hits the water at 1 meter from the dutch soldier. serious shit. but those cowboys did not have te be there. they are occupiers of a souvereign country.

  • I wasn't there so I can't tell if they just closed to contact with the enemy or drove into an actual ambush. I do recall this video from awhile back, but here they cut off the part about loading the friendly forces bodies into their trucks. It's a few years old.

  • I love the Dutch, had many a good dutch friend. Tough people, but theyre military has alot of work to do to live down their cowardly submission which led to the Srebrenica massacre. IMHO.
