How thoughtful of doctors - they left the original belly button intact, then made a hole for it so they pulled it up thru then sewn together!
Fast forward to 6 months - the same doctor explained to her how they preserved the belly button. She was excited to hear about so she promptly pulled her shirt up and touches it (doctor screamed "NO DONT TOUCH!" in background) and that undo everything on her body to a mass of flesh on the floor.
