Retro TV Far Out Space Nuts

This video is part of an ongoing project to build a retrospective TV archive made exclusively for the LL community on my Retro TV channel at

http://www.liveleak.com/c/Retro_TV_

One of the many series with actor Bob Denver. Originally broadcast from 1975 -1976, there were 12 episodes. A Krofft production, produced to fill in for a cartoon series that was scrapped at the last second. There are many many props and costumes from other Krofft series in this. Patty Maloney played Honk how cool is that? If you don't know who she is, then forget I even mentioned it. Think Darla from Little Rascals.

The cartoon snippet I chose is from a "banned" cartoon. Although there is no official banned list it's not shown on broadcast TV anymore. It's called Caveman Inki (1950). Inki was a recurring character who appeared in 5 loony Tunes and Merrie Melodies episodes.

  • If you are going to produce an archive, then please select the best stuff.

Good stuff is very very rare, so please expend your energy on that. Not archiving just anything.

This material is embarassing to all, and best left lost.

Find, archive and showcase the good stuff please. Not this.

I like all of these posts. I haven't seen the shows and commercials in decades.

I am amazed that the stuff even exists.

What you're describing is a favorites collection. That's not the plan I have for this series.

I wouldn't expect that everyone will like every show. But there is room for everything. Good, bad, rare, popular etc... At no time is anything in this archive based on my personal choices. I have quite a few episodes with shows I very much dislike in fact. As long as I have a decent source material I archive it. What makes a comprehensive archive is rare TV shows, which usually means unpo More..

      You'll never get there.

You have 50+ years of television from all channels, so just uploading two a day means you'll never get there.

I have a nice copy of Pufnstuf, will be posted eventually. And a few other Krofft shows that you might not have heard of or forgotten existed too. A buddy traded me some Krofft super hour shows for Manimal and Automan. I got some real clean video from them.

I have to work on restoring the sound. The recording has degraded over time. It's two channel stereo and mostly the left channel cuts in and out, the right occasionally too. Hopefully not both channels at the same time. So it's pos More..
