White House Cock-Blocked (By Other Media Outlets!) on Fox Freeze Out
Well, the White House war on Fox News has been going on for a while now, and today it was going to continue. The Obama administration was making the "pay czar," Kenneth Feinberg available to all members of the White House press pool for round-robin interviews, but specifically said "everybody but Fox."
FINALLY the other media outlets found their testicles and said basically 'if you don't
More.. include Fox, then we won't play either.' So the White House relented. However, I'm not sure it was completely altruistic on their part.
So to the network execs I say... GOOD on ya! ALL journalists should stand in principle for an open and free dialogue, including those with opposing views. That's the way it should be - the press should stand together to ASK the tough questions; not be in the tank for any political person of power.
Major Garrett did get that sit-down, but the White House pared the interview time for each reporter down to 2 minutes from 5. Personally I think it was a 'warning' shot across the bow to all the other news organizations not to over-step their bounds, but if the White House REALLY wants an enemies list, all they need to do is piss off the ENTIRE press corps. The press will only ingest so much Kool-Aid before they have to throw it up and realize they've been poisoned by the server.
Final observation: The White House "pay czar," Kenneth Feinberg, took umbrage at being called a "czar," saying it had a negative connotation. However, according to the chyron and his WikiPedia page, his official title is "Special Master for compensation." Does anybody else besides me have a problem with the term "Special Master?" I guess it fits if you're deciding what someone's work is worth, but then I guess those over whom you are a 'master' must indeed be your slaves. Less..

It figures, I have always said that the news metworks were conservative in nature. That's why I try to get my news from the Internet and not television.

So what about this story makes you think the news networks are all conservative? Are you kidding me?

Freedom of speech means nothing to this administration.
Could you imagine the bush administration saying 'everyone's included except CBS'?!
I have to salute the other news organizations for backing Fox, but then again, if they wouldn't have, they would have appeared to be even more owned by Obama's Chicago political crew than they already are.

Obama is suppossed to have taught Constitutional Law. However, is administration affirms time and time again that BHO has no concept of the fundamental concepts the Constitution guarantees.
BHO is an empty suit.

The mere fact that the White House would try this, shows that FOX NEWS and Rush are getting to them and They are very much in barry's head.

The Obama administration is perfect, therefore any news network which criticizes it isn't a real news organization. NOT!

this was a test to see who would resist, those people will be replaced

Try to get beyond the "conservative/liberal" paradigm here. These news organizations acted in the interest of the pool.
What you said isn't very deep thinking.

They all resisted, are you saying all 4 reporters will be replaced?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hussein and his monkey followers are scared and on the run in their own house. GJ to the other media members for standing up to hussein for a change. They know they're next if they stray.

it's a good start. now if we could only get the media to report fact instead of their twisted religious/political opinion of what the facts are.
