It was 'meh' because there were so few receivers. It had almost no mass propaganda value compared to newspapers, radio, movie theatres, and public rallies.

Only the richest had the money for a TV.. Germany's money became almost worthless between WWI and WWII cuz of hyperinflation. You would take a wheel barrel full of money to the store to buy even the most basic necessities. What was this a commercial for?
