    The fun thing is... they did all this to try to overthrow the government (NOT because of tuition fees like they claimed), yet all their rioting made the gov stronger with more popular support. Fail.

    • @GradySizematters Liberal party was having its meeting in Montreal; but because of the student protests, they moved to a small down in the middle of nowhere. Student leaders encouraged people to go there to protests. After less than a minute, the protest was declared illegal because people were throwing pavement and pool balls to the cops. Cops threw gas to make protesters leave, but they didn't...

      Whole thing lasted like 1.5 hours. 110 arrests, 7 people hurt (or similar). They arrested entire More..

  • Quebec cops are notoriously heavy handed, their law system is slightly different than the rest of Canada and the cops have a free'r hand. You can only beat so many people bloody out of a crowd like that before they start beating back. Personally I have no opinion, dont know what their panties are in a knot for..
