Aired in the 1986-1987 broadcast season with 12 episodes.

Conceptually something of a mixed genre like Wild Wild West. A western, science fiction, detective show with a lot of comedy derived from their continual surprises with the 20th century. Some cowboys are transported from the past in a time warping indian burial ground to the 20th century, where they commence to setting up a detective agency. That's what I'd probably do in their shoes too.

Although the two hour pilot had good ratings the show was relegated to Saturday night, where shows go to die. The broadcasts of this show were somewhat sporadic too, which undoubtedly helped to kill its ratings.

Thanks to their superior marksmanship they never did have to kill anyone so this show never ran afoul of censors. The cast and acting are actually pretty solid, the formula was rote however.
