  • If you ever plan on going into a profession where a tattoo is frowned upon, i.e. certain military branches (depending on location), then I would advise against it. I have a tattoo that I got about 4 years ago when I got out of the service and I don't think it was one of my better ideas.

    • I would suggest the opposite.

      People change a lot with time.
      Get a tattoo that does not mean anything and you won't be held back by old memories or ideas that you don't agree with any more.

      Think of yourself in 20 years and decide, will you still not regret having that tattoo? How about 40 years?
