I formed a new channel for Live-Leakers in the creative/entertainment section but its for everyone, esp. the average Joe like myself. Its based on a simple but cool premise.
The video challenge is simple: Shoot 5 short segments of your everyday life (splitting logs, riding the train, making coffee, using the computer, WHATEVER you do or see in your everyday life that you choose to capture) but each segment can only be 7 seconds long. No titles but you can add music if you want (but keep the natural sound for reality purposes). Total film length can only be 35 seconds long. You can do as many as you want to. This will be on-going.
Try to make it interesting (extreme close-ups, blurred backgrounds, etc): MAGNIFY the mundane in life; the normal everyday activities we either take for granted or don't pay attention to. Environment, urban shots, trees, sky, your own feet on a footstool, whatever floats your boat. Post them to the channel when you're finished. There's nothing to critique here as far as creativity: its just stuff we do and see everyday: it is what it is. You can read more about the idea on the channel page. If you have questions, don't hesitate to send me a message.
Every once in a while we'll extend the time of each video and compile them into a longer version just for kicks. Peace everyone. I look forward to seeing some cool stuff. -Gene Lythgow
