Body Worlds - Anatomic Art and yes these are real corpses

Plastination is a
technique patented in 1982 by Dr. Gunther von Hagens. Using this
technique, water and fat are replaced by certain plastics yielding
specimens which do not decay. Dr. von Hagens uses only donated bodies
for plastination.

Body Worlds is the first anatomical exhibition of preserved human bodies
which has been made available to the public. Since the first exhibition
in Japan in 1995, over 25 million visitors in 40 countries have seen
what is considered the world's most successful travelling exhibition.

The focus of the exhibition is to educate the public about anatomy and
the human body, its functions, diseases and physical changes.

  • This sick bastard German fuck was caught with the copses of Chinese Prisoners, he also sells body parts online, fucking sick son of a bitch. It's been well known that sadistic psychopaths hide among the art community, it's always been the case.

That's interesting to me bro, I hadn't heard of the psycho/art community link before.

    • @Zardoz003 I have to disagree and I mostly agree with you.
Chinese prisoners are executed all the time.
Most of them get a bullet in the head and fall in a ditch and are not even used for fertilizer as far as we know.
(dead babies are a different story)
I think it's pretty damn cool these poor bastards can be made into a work of art and education instead of rotting in some pit.
I would like that done with my body.
Especially considering just rotting with the top of my head blown off.
      Maybe you k More..

  • Some of the bodies they previously used were executed prisoners from China.

Now, supposedly, all the ones shown in the US are from consenting donations.

  • Just search on Body Worlds or plastination. There's quite a few of them out there. I posted an interview with Gunther von Hagens (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=28a_1314297796) last year where he discusses the rationale behind it and the techniques used.

  • Saw this exhibit in Philadelphia years ago. Creepiest part is some of the pieces (toes) were breaking off and laying on the floor,I really wanted to grab a piece!

  • Had a chance to catch this exhibit a couple of years ago. The complexity of some of the displays were truly mind-blowing.

Oh, yeah...about the "Penis and Vagina Gallery"... There isn't one, and the few genitalia that are seen, are very clinical in appearance, and not 'sexual', if that makes sense.

  • all that you are physically is going to rot away, fascinating isn't it?

  • The corpses are largely from China, where the Body Worlds 'factory' is located. It's highly probably the exhibit contains parts of or entire corpses from Chinese political dissidents. There is some scientific merit to the exhibit but it is trumped by the spectacle of this roving sideshow on steroids. I'll never go and see it again.

  • Not ONE WORD about the Creator, Who conceived us, brings us to life, nourishes and sustains us, and gives us the power of thought, speech, and action . . . and The Formula for enjoying good life.

It's just not fashionable in this era to mention God.

But forget about God. Let's go over to the Penis and Vagina Gallery, undoubtedly the most popular part of this exhibit.

  • ...the traveling show viewed from these eyes was 'body works'. visions in sleep of half decomposed screaming baby fetuses all night long, there was no clinical notes... more horrifying than LL. in conclusion of the show ...is that, it isn't... teaching humans anything new about our selves, as slaves. nor does this ignite artistic inspiration of a DIY "take it home." body's on display with full disembowelment, streched intestine...classic dark ages torture. was there violence in this sc More..
