Woman Flips Off Driver, Who Ends Up Being Sheriff

(NewsCore) - Call it justice on four wheels: a 49-year-old woman in a hurry cut off another driver Thursday, then flashed him her middle finger.
Unfortunately for her, that other driver turned out be Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr., who promptly turned on his unmarked car's emergency lights and pulled her over, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
Cheryl A. Smith was cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license and reckless endangering of safety.
Deputies who responded then arrested her on a warrant for a previous charge of operating with a suspended license.
Smith reportedly apologized to the sheriff once she recognized him and said she wouldn't have flipped her finger had she known it was him.
Clarke told her she shouldn't cut people off or make rude gestures no matter who they are, the Journal Sentinel said.

    • @mytwocents Exactly, it was not the gesture. She was pulled over for driving with tude. Not at all smart when she had a warrant out for her arrest and was driving on a suspended license.

    She never got the lesson either. As far as she is concerned, you just don't flip off cars with tinted windows because you don't know who might be in them.

    Yeah her record shows a complete lack of understanding how to be a citizen.

    • @Amusing Ty, yes she is dumb as a stump. One would think that a person driving on a suspended license would try to obey the Law and so not be stopped.

      Nothing will get you pulled over faster than erratic or aggressive driving, because that behavior directly leads to accidents and people getting killed.

  • The middle finger did not cause the ticket and the arrest, it was her suspended license, warrant, and other offenses.


    She also cut the car off which is reckless endangerment.


    You can flick off anyone you would like including cops... just be sure that there aren't any warrants out there for you and you're not breaking the law.

    • @Flashovr Dallas/Ft Worth interstate area. HOLY CRAP! @ the insane drivers all over that place. It took me many trips through that place to come to the realization that if you don't drive like a maniac, you are in serious danger from those who will.

      In 15 years, the only time I ever saw that place come to a crawl was during the worst rain storm I've ever seen. At 15 to 20 mph, I could just barely make out the front of the hood on my car. That's saying a lot, because I've driven around and video More..
