@toppo I went to the doctor with warts. He froze them off and they grew right back and spread. Went again, froze them off and ended up with even more. Some of this stuff is so insidious that the medical community can't figure it out. Just look at tree man. They took an electric grinder to him and it still didn't fix it.

The theme or purpose of this programme is to get people to go to the doctor despite their embarrassment about a condition. While its really sad she's waited two years to get treatment we don't know what the circumstances were. The virus could have suddenly got worse. But, if we're shocked then the programme has achieved its purpose of getting us to recognise that nothing should be ignored simply because its gross or embarrassing. I hope she gets better :-)

I agree it was quite shocking and sad. I think you're right, it was an immunodeficiency problem which allowed the warts to grown unchecked. If I recall, the "tree man" of indonesia also had an genetic problem with his immune system which also permitted his warts to grow to such proportions.
