Heartbreaking scene as a mother and daughter are struck in the madness and chaos of the Homs insurgency, and a man appears to sit dead in a vehicle. The speaker who is filming shakes the man and asks him if he is alive, but he does not reply.
The so called "Free Syrian Army" and their Al-Qaeda allies overtake civilian areas and terrorise them, forcing out residents and forcing business to close down. They shoot and fire heavy weapons randomly in residential areas, and have been responsible for countless IEDs and suicide bombings which do not distinguish a civilian from an army soldier. Today, Sarkozy the president of France has banned a deviant Imam called Yusuf Al-Qaradawi (who is a star on Al Jazeera, one of the main incitors of violence in Syria) from entering France on the pretext that he supports suicide bombings of civilian targets in Israel, and he supports attacks on coalition military targets in Iraq, and Sarkozy considers this to be terrorism. http://news.yahoo.com/sarkozy-bar-radical-imams-entering-france-095536056.html
So why does Sarkozy support terrorism in Syria? Is is acceptable to do this in Syria while it is not in Israel and Iraq? The Israelis and allied forces have been responsible for much more death and destruction in Israel, Palestine and Iraq than anything seen in Syria. Yet somehow they justify the terrorism in Syria but not against their own interests?
This video shows the reality and cost of insurgency and guerrilla war in urban areas. Dialogue and peaceful transition are the only civilised way forward. The Syrian people have voted in a referendum to change the constitution and allow multi-party elections. However, the armed factions who are infilitrated by Al-Qaeda say the only way forward is violent overthrow of the regime, no matter what the civilian cost. The referendum was a landmark move which leaves the detractors behind in the stone age:
Saudi Arabia supports the right of the people of Syria to gather in public and demand overthrow of the regime, but it is not allowing even any public gatherings on its own soil, and is responsible for some of the worst governance in the world http://www.hrw.org/news/2012/03/12/lessons-saudi-spring
The Emirates is likewise calling for the Syrian opposition to gather and be allowed to call for the overthrow of the regime, but in the Emirates the same Syrians find that they are not allowed to gather in public without losing their visas http://www.hrw.org/news/2012/03/02/uae-stop-expelling-syrian-protesters
