@geoleojoh
If you mean *human values* to be virtues such as love, fear, compassion etc. These are virtues that the animals SHARE with humans. The animal soul is lower than humans only in that they do not possess freewill.
The soul is the container for emotions - in human and in animal.
They emote, love, care, grieve, communicate, bond and show fear, anger and loyalty and camaraderie with their young, other animals and humans.
Just as a side note - and to somehow tie this all together wit More..

You could call it a distant cousin but you might offend it. Like who wants to be associated with humans.

Absolutely beautiful. God bless the animals of this world. Each and everyone of them. How we abuse them and still in times like this, their beauty and compassion shines through.

@watercarrier:
Do you want your god to bless insects - carriers of terminal diseases? Do you want your god to bless worms that get into your body through a skin on your feet when you walking on a beach, and then it multiplies and infects entire organism in just 48 hours??? And... do you want your god to bless insects that cause massive losses in crops in Africa, making entire villages being wiped out because of starvation?
IS IT YOUR GOD WHO CREATED IT ALL?

@ProSkilledPro No we're not, far from it. Because an animal like this, sitting down eating shit, decides to stand up and save a chick from drowning makes them all better than humans? You mean the humans that dedicate facilities to helping each other? That assist animals that get stuck every day? etc etc? You have a fucked view of society if you think this monkey is better.

@evaunit
it's very sad. orangs in the wild live almost exclusvivly in trees alone. just being around others for a long period must be strange and un-natural for them. it is all but impossible to duplicate a wild animal's environment...even a spider roams.

Palm Oil in your chocolate and ready meals is destroying their habitat so stop buying that stuff and they will survive in the wild or they will be extinct except for these zoo specimens

sad but true. people need to check into the origins of their foods.
lots and lots of the stuff we consume aren't necessary things anyway.
