    • Yeah I feel you on that one, it IS exciting, minus the Damage. Even Fay, a relatively lower-level storm, really tore up Florida. I was down in South Florida on the East Coast, and we were hit even harder than the West Coast, which is where Fay made landfall. The Power went out for nearly 10 hours, which lead to a room with a temperature of 80 Degrees Fahrenheit by Morning time. I saw the Transformer Blow and turn the entire sky Green twice. They Restored the Power at 11:30 AM, only to have the T More..

  • Sheer raw power of a hurricane, I just can't believe how high the water rose from this storm and how strong those winds were. I know one thing for sure when a hurricane comes a blowing they will think twice about ever staying through a hurricane.

If only one life can be saved by people watching this video this it would of been well worth showing it for other people as to learn from it. Hopefully people are going to stop being so selfish and can the hell out of harms way of these killer storms More..

  • FEMA was incompetent; whereas the city and state gov'ts were culpably corrupt. But, since they are controlled by Democrats and FEMA is a bureaucracy in a Republican administration...well, the news stories just wrote themselves, didn't they?

  • broman4569: "Nice.....should have flown a kite"
AT THE BEGINNING OF THE TAPE, SHOWS WHERE I USED TO FLY TRICK KITES ON THE BEACH. WE FLEW THEM DURING A TROPICAL STORM WITH WINDS AROUND 45 MPH.
MY FATHER IN LAW STAYED DURING KATRINA 3 BLOCKS NORTH OF THE LIGHT HOUSE - ONE OF THE FEW HOUSES THAT WERE STILL THERE AFTER. MAJOR DISASTER...
