To be fair though if they keep up the tourism levels they have now it might not fall apart.
But that's what Beirut thought as well so we shall see in the coming years if Dubai can hold up in the long term.

@popcana You see they are building so big so fast, all with oil wealth. When the money dries up, the maintenance costs will kill them. Tourism will not be able to keep them going.

man, can you imagine all the fireworks that are being loaded into that building!! they keep pushing there luck with it. I hope the day never comes that an accident ever happens because they will have one tough cookie on there hands to deal with. Something like that would never be attempted in the USA. Beautiful display though!.
