extremism is just a logical symptom of poverty. As long as they live in a gettho-like prison with no goods being allowed in or out, they will remain poor and perfect victims for brainwashing.

As long as palestine remains a zero-hope and zero-opportunity zone, it will create criminals and terrorists. Remember Brooklyn back in the days? Conditions and crime rate were terrible untill real estate investors went in and improved the conditions.

simple minded knee jerk logic, extremism is a logical outreach of following the tenets of islam.

the 9'11 hijackers were all from middle to upper class family's, most had university degrees.

the ranks of al-qaeda are rife with middle class citizens. the leaders of al-qaeda are wealthy and educated, bin laden is a billionare, zawahari is a doctor.

the worldwide terrorist movement is spearheaded by groups ;like the muslim brotherhood, whose ranks are filled with well educated, wealthy men from well to do backgrounds.

the common thread is that they follow islam.

save your liberal "poverty creates terrorism" hogwash and examine events through a neutral prism.

by the way, i'm from brooklyn, the reason it improved was a guy named rudy guiliani, not real estate

Rudi Gulliani came after Brooklyn showed rising real estate prices. His approach affected other districts.

the 9'11 hijackers are barely representative, if they were we'd be in trouble. The standard fighter in Iraq, palestine and Afghanistan can barely read, stems from a poor background and will never make it to europe. You are trying to construct a cliche here that is quite odd.

  • One day, when all this will be over, they're gonna look back and see that it has made things worse, far worse.
Does anyone believe that this campaign will solve the crisis in the Middle East? That is the answer to the Palestinian question?
