President Obama in Iraq - April 2009
When you can't bring your teleprompter, the old-school note card will have to do.
Of course, if you knew the names of the major war-zone military units you commanded, you wouldn't need it.

better to read the name off the cards than butcher them or leave out someone.
would there have been a chance that you WOULDN'T make negative comments about his visit, regardless?

My guess is he's showing you what your side sounded like about Bush for eight years.
Having said that, I don't blame him for using a card, those are ad-hoc units and the names are easily messed up.

for every straw you grasp on Obama there's a whole treasure trove on Bush. you think Bush didn't use teleprompters or have speech professionals telling him how to speak? didn't have writers that wrote his speeches?
go protect one of Bush's "Power Pants", or something

You sound like the fools at Young Turds. Of course all presidents have speech writers and have used teleprompters. The difference is Obama uses the 'prompter far more often than prior presidents. Perhaps what explains that is how bad he can sound without it.
BTW, as someone who NEVER failed to nitpick Bush, much less spout endless numbers of laughable conspiracy theories about him, are you sure you're entitled to ***** now?
Oh, and based on that latest narcissistic avatra, you could stand to lose a few pounds, LAS. Black isn't the cure for everything, and you're far too young to be that chubby. Get yourself to a gym.

I think whats more telling is his warm reception. I seem to recall some videos a couple of months ago that implied the troops wouldn't cheer for a Democrat.

"those are ad-hoc units and the names are easily messed up." - by the average American, maybe. By the Commander in Chief of units at war, no.
"would there have been a chance that you WOULDN'T make negative comments about his visit, regardless?"
As a matter of fact, yes:

If you are harping on the President's use of a teleprompter you have surely hit bottom--or watch too much Glennbeck. Time to get some help.

No, the answer is that's just what YOU and yours sounded like. I simply don't want to sound like you did, but he has the right to, and you're in no position to whine about it.

lol, after 8 years of the picky shit Bush was banged on about?

You would have thought they would realize they have run this teleprompter non-story to the end of its string, but cons are famous for beating a dead horse to a pulp.
