      When I was in Moscow this past summer, I saw three Hummers with some 5 dudes taking pictures of them, this was near MGU building. They all seems to be bragging, when I took a picture of the Hummers my Russian girlfriend said to stop. Does that mean that these people could have been criminals?

      I mean, for me was kind of shocking to find H3 Hummers in Moscow, but for what I noticed was a good ammount of American cars in Moscow, something which I was not expecting.

      Most probably they are related to criminal activity in some way. You cant by your son a hummer and send him to MGU on your average salary. All capitals earned in 90`s are partly or completely illegal. How you suppose to build capitalistic system from scratch in 20 years without all kind of crimes?

      American cars were very popular in 1990`s, but then they lost some popularity to German, Japanese and finally Korean cars. Still in Moscow you can find anything you can imagin More..
