10/29/o7 Buffalo NY 21-year-old Daniel Walker of North Tonawanda has just returned to Western New York from Iraq, and he's meeting his five new sisters for the first time. He arrived Sunday evening at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
During the two years that Walker has been away with the Air Force, his parents adopted a group of five sisters through the foster-care program. Daniel is adopted too, and his parents, Jody and Kevin Walker, had also previously adopted two more children. This brings their total to eight children, and Daniel, the oldest, says he's excited to meet his new sisters, as well as see the rest of his family.
Daniel will spend three weeks here, and he plans on catching a Buffalo Sabres game and relaxing. He will then be stationed in Italy.
