I had a party in high-school, and we pranked a friend that didn't show. We had the TV on, late night cable, and any time an informercial came on we would call. We gave them the kid's name and address and phone number every time, and asked if they could send information in the mail. I don't know how many lists this put him on, but his mailbox was overflowing forever. Every day. Pamphlets and VHS tapes and samples.

@lucidx1 Impersonating a police officer may be, but pranking a solicitor? They ever make that illegal and I am going to vote the entire lot out of office. (course planning to do that this November anyway.)

I usually tell telemarketers that I can't understand them and endlessly request repeats of what they are saying. Eventually they go away.
