A mother of three was found naked and eating ice cream inside a Houston pharmacy after leaving her children unattended in a car following an accident.

According to police, Stephanie Dillard, aged 34, had her three kids ages five, 12 and 16 in the car when she collided with a city bus near South Post Oak Road and Orem Drive last Friday.


All of the children were shaken up and sustained minor injuries. The five-year-old suffered a large gash over one eye, officials said.

Instead of taking her children to the hospital, detectives said Dillard got out of the car and walked away, leaving her kids alone at the scene of the accident.







In a bizarre twist, the 34-year-old then went to a nearby CVS store and began stripping off her clothes as she snacked on a cold treat, according to investigators.


When officers arrived at the scene, they said Dillard refused to go quietly and put up a fight.

Police said they are investigating what caused the mother of three to exhibit such strange behavior.


Her children have been released into the care of their grandmother.


Dillard was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. If convicted, she could face two years behind bars. She is currently being held in the Harris County Jail on $2,000 bond.

This is not the 34-year-old’s first run-in with the law. In 2009, she was convicted on a robbery charge and received a probationary sentence, which she had just completed.
