You never have a good angle on confronting an employer that fired you. Filming it and posting it on-line doesn't make it better. Just move on and learn from your mistakes.
@XR400R Yea, it's no fun to recognize your powerlessness in the face of your many, many superiors in this world. But for the most part, the 'freedom' we have consists in being able to walk away.
The corporate world sucks shit. Been there, done that, never doing it again. Nothing but a bunch of sociopath fuck-tard bosses. I know people who have spent many years of their lives at companies only to be walked out the door when the layoffs come with no good bye or thank you.
The moron admitted he was late in the very beginning of the video. Filming himself creating a confrontation and a misdemeanor proves he deserved to be fired.
I stopped at 4:00,I wish I never even watched it.
@the wedge Yes, this idiot never responded on the basis of whether he was late or not. Every time "Doug" brought up the fact that he was "1 and 1/2" hours late, the guy said that he "arrived at 7."
He was either avoiding the question all together, or being smart for the video by not allowing the audience to know what time he was supposed to arrive.
To walk into a place where you were once employed with a camera demanding money owed I think is provocation. There is a right way to do things when it comes to industrial matters. This isn't it.
Simple case. Office is in NY. Project is in Toronto. #1 u need to leave adequate time to get from point A to B. Especially international travel. You need to shoot for several hours before u need to be there. That way when you are an hour late it is no big deal. Cuz u r now 2 hrs early instead of 3. #2 u need to be familiar with your work and equipment. A good field person will be able to "make things work". If not u would have had adequate time to contact the office for instructions. BMore..ottom line, u blew it bozo. How much and whether u get paid depends on your contract and or terms of employment.Less..

This kid sounds like a HUGE piece of shit.
He showed up to the job over a hour and a half late....and then didn't do the work...blaming it on the "equipment."
I hope this dumb shit kid gets exposed and ostracized on the internet.

Okay, well.... I'd just like to get my stapler. If I don't get my stapler... I'll just have to set fire to the building.

Sounded like Doug was about to stroke out. Computer nerds do not handle real life confrontation very well.

The Ex employee was a douche bag.
I could tell by the look on the faces of the other employees that they did not care for the guy with the camera.
