Real Scam Artist - Beware...
I received this letter in the mail, post marked from spain (stamps cost about 0.75 euros), as did other members of my family. His website is amateur fake and his domain name traces to a commercial web hosting service in Austin Texas. This guy is a lawyer from Spain. Uh huh.

Hundreds of dipshits every day. Apparently an indonesian or other pacific scamming group is hammering NZ at the moment, trademe (local version of ebay) and banking accounts.

LOl
A variation of the Nigerian letter.
The ones originating from Spain are usually related to lottery prizes.
I tried the web page and it is funny. It is a Spanish lawyer firm, but the text is only in English. It smells scam from a mile.

Even worse the letter uses the Tsunami of 2004 as a basis for the scam. This is extremely bad Karma, if not a special place in Hell when that scammer dies for real. Extremely bad.

You're right it can't be true because it wasn't sent by email. Never trust real letters.

Also known as an advance fee fraud. i.e. you only get 'your money' if you pay upfront administration fees.
Sometimes they require you to visit and sign forms and they then kidnap you and hold you to ransom.
