56.3 Inches = Second Snowiest Winter of All Time
Global Warming? Global Cooling? Climate Change? El Nino? Cow Farts? Al Gore ? This sounds like the same weather pattern that brought those tasty little squids to San Diego! (see squid vid at my page).
A couple of weeks ago I posted an article from those dudes at East Anglia University from the 90's saying snow fall as a thing of the past....
Yeah, right.

From what I've read, global warming doesn't mean that the whole planet warms up. What it means is that *typically* warmer places (i.e. California) get gradually colder and *typically* colder places (i.e. Alaska) get warmer. There is an evening out of temperatures. You cannot just look at one small portion of the planet and say there's no global warming because it snowed a lot. I don't know what to think of the global warming theory but I'm keeping an open mind on BOTH sides and learning as much More..

The first heat wave in the USA or Europe this summer will make headlines as proof of global warming just like they have in the past 20 or so years...

You almost have it. Record heat waves this summer will not be evidence of climate change.
20 years of them, however, is.

53" of snow for the year is not a whole lot. Maybe for one area, but most places in North America that regularly gets snow. Under 10 feet for the year is a light winter.
For that area that gets a dusting of an inch here and there usually. You got a good pounding. Nothing amazing. Heck it did not break the record.
When you get 48" in one night, then lets talk. That is a strong storm metric.

Of all time is relative, because how do we know that this isn't what happens every 2 million years or so. What if this is a natural occurrence that just happens?

'money' ? you're saying that climatologists from USA/EUROPE as well as ASIA/CHINA are all involved in a graaand conspiracy to mislead every government and all the people in the world into thinking global warming is happening when it isn't.
and the only answer you've got as to why there would be such a watertight conspiracy involving people from such hugely different societies, with such different backgrounds, under such different forms of government, on opposite side of the world, is ...
money More..

Looks like the global warming folks had it right. As ocean temperatures rise, precipitation increases.

The problem right now is El nino, last it struck here we had the worst Ice storm of the history.
BUT El Nino is directly related to the climate change, our ocean are getting warmer and more acid, you can expect this kind of weather to increase in the future

Why can't you get it through your head it hasn't warmed in over 10 years, in fact it has gone down. Everyone realizes now it was a scam or at best just bad science. It is now a political battle that the left can not lose. No matter how much it cost the average man.

yes everyone agrees except for those thousands and thousands of actual climate scientists from all around the world who agree that it HASN'T cooled in the past decade and that global warming is a reality.
why do the climatologists in India and China and Australia agree with the climatologists in the USA and Europe ?
that's a mighty big conspiracy.
that's their motive ?
did Al Gore hypnotise them all with his incredibly charismatic personality ? LOL.
moron. just because it still snows in no More..
