Police dog attacks Walmart worker

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. -
A police dog attacked an employee at a Fayette County Walmart.

The Fayette County deputy was using the restroom while the dog was supposedly secured in his SUV.

Something triggered the "bailout mechanism" in the SUV and the dog is trained to get out of the vehicle when that happens.

Surveillance
video shows the dog looking for his handler. When the dog did not see
the deputy, it attacks the worker, biting him in the arm and groin.

The worker dragged the dog into the Walmart where the deputy managed to get the dog off of him.

The bailout mechanisms in the cars are being replaced.
