  • Anyone up for a world wide class action law suit against the FBI, MPAA and RIAA so we can get our data back stored on the servers they seized?

I personally had lots of LEGAL files stored there which I have lost.

  • The point was to scare people that they know full well they will never stop. Filesharers, fileservers, and by extension, even sites like these that operate outside the norm and outside their control. Cut off one head, two more shall rise.

    • @kajidono Impressive and Pathetic at the same time! They have failed the War On Drugs and most importantly - they have failed the War On Money Laundering: no one is brave enough to point out the biggest threat to humanity today, the so-called OFFSHORE BANKING and it's 2-5 trillion dollar yearly money laundering "budget"
These are just nickels and dimes...

    • @copilot1111111 Course they failed at that one, they're the biggest offenders.

    • @kajidono If i'll rate the EFFORT in our so-called War On Drugs, on a scale from 1 to 100, i'll give 25.
The fact that we have millions of people in jails because of drug offences adds some points to their EFFORT but it also subtracts points too because what they lack is the effectiveness of their tactics against the Big Players - big dope dealers and the system of money laundering. No one really wants to touch the banking industry and no one wants to address the issue of corruption in foreign a More..

  • The New Zealand government should be ashamed of themselves. Nothing more than American arse licking shills.

Fat guy, no criminal past, wanted for copyright infringement - requires a couple cops

Fat guy, no criminal past, wanted for copyright infringement by the U.S authorities - Requires a swat team, machine guns at the ready.

    • @ka50 Next we go to Russia! We will free the shit out of you and take all your vodka away because it's not safe. We will make your children ride in baby car seats until they're 14 like here in the USA. We will outlaw anything unhealthy and pass laws called something like "Freedom Eagle Shits Bill" to set up cameras that moniter you taking a shit to make sure your eating your daily intake of fiber. Then we will put women in charge of every level of government except for president. That More..

  • Can anyone say,"Sensationalism"?

Nothing like showing the world what a big threat P2P sites are.

Demonoid just had their guts stomped out.

Get ready for the great information purge.

    • @Hiarken Yeah that made me sad. Had their site DDOS'd and hacked to shit.
Hmmm I wonder who would do that. MPAA RAII totally paid hackers to fuck them over.

      Posted Aug-8-2012 By

    • @Hiarken Yeah but megaupload wasn't P2P. P2P they really can't stomp out because it's decentralized. If torrents can't be distributed on the web freely than I can see the transition made to an application like TOR and pseudo-domains that the program makes use of.

  • He has more money to throw at lawyers to keep him out of gaol. He will win. And soon Mega Upload 2.0 will be on Chinese servers, without the extradition of the world police of the USA. Why the FBI needs to defend Hollywood is a waste of money and manpower. Chase the real scum of this earth like drug narcos and organised crime syndicates. Not a nerd with a computer. Hope he wins. Hope he comes back stronger.

  • I like how the threat level was low, so they didnt bring ballistic vests and frag grenades. They only brought a few teams of special police with assault rifles, some spare mags and some dogs. I bet they had 100 bullets for each person in the mansion.
