I can just see Great Britain proseciting folks that get ripped off from this scam. Leave it to the Brits to make sure everyone pays, even if your the victim.

2 things..
Firstly to the shit-for-brains UK police man at the end, the wallet is not stolen, its lost, if it was stolen then anybody who presents a found wallet to a police station should be charged with handling stolen goods.
Secondly, what if the mark when asked if they dropped their wallet lies and replies "yes mate thanks for that"...do they get a wallet with 600 genuine Euros in it, what is the planned response to that??

If you intended to keep the wallet its called 'Theft by finding'.
If he says it's his, act suspicious and ask him to describe what's in the wallet. Especially if one of the things he put in it was a club card or such with a name on it.
