GOP contender Rick Santorum is once again the victim of a glitter bomb, this time at a Florida campaign event.
A protester tossed a handful of glitter toward the candidate as he was wrapping up a campaign event in Lady Lake.
"Stop the hate!" one protester shouted as he was removed from the room.
Two men initially and later a third, who identify themselves as being members of Occupy Tampa, were detained.
Becky Rubright, who was with the two men, said the pair was protesting Santorum's views on homosexuality.
In all, four people were given trespass warnings as they stood outside the venue with glitter-filled hair and hands. The four were not arrested. They have been identified as Glenn Costa, Joseph Perry, Michael Fernandez and Rebecca Rubright.
Some event attendees said they thought the glitter toss was dangerous and could have injured Santorum by getting glitter in his eye.
"That's pretty dangerous. I mean, it seems pretty harmless, but yes, itcould be dangerous," said Santorum supporter Chris Davis.
This isn't Santorum's first run-in with the sparkly stuff. The declared winner of the Iowa caucuses was glittered as his South Carolina primary headquarters over the weekend.
