what my kids did for peace day
Students at Adena Schools participated in the observance of the International Day of Peace Tuesday.
Students created their own pinwheels and planted them outside the school. On the pinwheels, the students wrote their thoughts about "war and peace, tolerance, and living in harmony with others on one side. On the other side, they created images to visually express their feelings.
Students also gathered on the lawn at the school in the form of a peace sign.
