Auckland New Zealand has many beautiful parks and beaches.
Mission Bay is one of my favourites.I love the fountain and the coffee at the Mecca Stonehouse Cafe is hard to beat !.You can see the cafe near the end of the video.Please ignore the wrong date stamp !.

Mission bay is a nice spot but it's like a retirement village as far as people & culture goes IMO. It's about the only place near Auckland city that has something resembling a beach although you have to have a pretty good immune system to swim there. It's quite toxic after years of raw sewage flowing into it. It used to have loads of fush which is why the Maoris settled there before whitey came. Nice cafes are everywhere in Auckland.
