I see the speed limit on some roads is set at 30 miles per hour,
and they go flat out,
is the road surface designed for the racers in mind or is it tarmac, the same as an ordinary road?

@mikeharve It's just a regular road, closed off for the race. No run off, nothing but death on either side of the track for these guys.

@mikeharve They do use special paint for the lines in the road and they do something with manhole covers and drain covers to make them non slip. They are not standard road surfaces.
