Gold Found on Mars
I found this last night while exploring Mars. An Asteroid 24miles wide slammed into the NW side of Mars several hundred million years ago, causing a massive crater. Theirs thousands of craters on Mars, but none look like this one!

Um, you're looking at an extreme closeup of a softball sized rock found by the Spirit rover in 2004 as it maneuvered around the Gusev crater landing site. Spectral analysis revealed it is a mineral known as hematite, a mineral known to form in water, though it can also be produced through volcanic processes. The mineral has not been found in any other rocks at Spirit's Gusev crater landing site, but was found in quantity at Opportunity's Meridiani Planum landing site, too. FYI.
