  • That is just plain messed up!

A tanker truck has just burst into flames, and the jack-ass camera man walks closer and closer to record the flames even better. Don't these people have any sense? Does the camera guy want to be launched into orbit with the next explosion? <just shaking my head>

  • I think it was empty.

Those were just fumes, otherwise those boom eperators would have been toast.

  • looks like some spilled out the bottom right before it blew, maybe hit some exhaust?

Im guessing the twisting of the tanker caused any number of pieces of metal to rip and spark.

  • Pretty nice footage quality. I like how the tow truck doesn't give a shit and keeps pulling it right side up and continues the show lol

agreed 100% - the camera would have been blown out of the filmer's hands - and the 'boom' would have been a serious KA-freakin-BLEWY!~!~!

  • Hummm, thats why you usually have the Fire Department standing by while you do that. The tank was probably mostly emptied though, or it would have been a much bigger explosion.

  • looks like all the fuel had already spilled out and the fumes ignighted when they moved it.

  • Great video. Especially liked the "woo-hoos" after the explosion and the way the tank gets peeled back like an aluminum beer can.
