Officials in the ministry of interior of Afghanistan following a statement said, at least 25 Taliban militants were killed and 6 others were killed and injured following Afghan national police operations across the country during the past 24 hours.
The statement further added, the operations were conducted jointly by Afghan national police, Afghan national army, Afghan national directorate for security forces and
international coalition forces.The statement also said, the operations were conducted in Kandahar, Helmand, Uruzgan and Paktia provinces.
Afghan security forces also seized some weapons and ammunitions including hand grenades, improvised explosive device during the operations.Taliban militants group fighting the Afghan government and international coalition forces yet to comment regarding the operations.

Good taliban = dead taliban. What I dont understand why a population of 30+ millions cant handle talebturds for themselves? Wiki ( I know not the best of sources ) gives the strength of Talebans to be around 45000?!?!? WTF? Talebs are not even 1% of the population of Afghanistan but yet afghanis cant fight them?? What the hell?
Thats like 5000 ultramegafighting talebans moved to Finland and wanted sharia law and the rest ( about 5,5 millions ) would just obey them? I dont get it?

@EMAG-K Think of them more as a political party. For example, in the U.S. the number of people registered as Repub/Dem don't account for the actual number of folks that vote along those party lines. People that register as Green, Libertarian, Independent voters will typically vote for the larger party that seeks the closest related goal.
