Exactly my thoughts.. These guys are not civilians back there, they are war profiteering mercenaries. Thats all there is to it. Dont like it? Dont do it.

And when these honorable men and women who volunteer, stop volunteering the government can implement the draft and send your butt for a fraction of the cost anyway.
It's rather amusing how the volunteer; albeit soldier, or civilian, does what duty the country, or company asks of them, contract or orders. And when harm comes to either, people resort to this kind of they knew the risk's crap. Yea they do it for money, which of you would go for free? But they also do it to REALLY SUPPORT our service men and women. Not to just buy some rinky dink ribbon sticker for their gas guzzling SUV and say they do! Have some compassion! I've been there done that too, but at least I could shoot back, a lot of these people had nothing more than windshield and a tee shirt. Not to mention the lack of any support when the get home from people just like you who shame what's honorable and noble. Get in those shoes losers and walk those miles, AHH but you to smart for that right? Yea, till the likes and ilk of those show up at your front door screaming ALLAH AKBAR with an AK-47 and cutting your family members heads off. Sure, better them than you right?

The use of contractors has made Cheney some BIG BUCKS. The hiding of the use of contractors is criminal, as MOST Americans are not aware there are people making 3, 4, 5 times what the average soldier is making there. Then, to add to the insult, the companies hiring the contractors, will the full blessing of the Bush, Crony and Asshole Administration treat the contractors as badly if not MORE badly than the troops, by doing everything the can NOT to provide the medical and psychological care for those returning. Bush, Crony and Asshole Administration should be ashamed of the things that they are doing, have done and are continuing to ignore regarding this war of choice for the Bush, Crony and Asshole Administration. And yeah, the draft might be a GOOD idea, of course Americans can't seem to even produce some armored vehicles, I guess they can only produce piss-poor gas guzzing SUVs by the hundreds per day. Yes, America is SHINING for sure like a lit fart for hope for the entire world.

It's not volunteering if they're making 80,000/year tax-free. It would be great if they started drafting, because then all these senators' kids, and rich kids would have to scramble and figure a way to get out of it, like Bush did.
It's rather amusing to me, how you are totally skirting the issue, which is Iraq has made private companies TRILLIONS of dollars... and guess who is flipping the bill?? You are, I am, we all are. If you are a tax-paying citizen, you are paying to make rich companies richer. And because they are private companies, they don't have to give ANY care or support to wounded contractors, dead ones' families, etc.
Your "people resort to this kind of they knew the risk's crap" pales in comparison to the facts. Stick to the facts and quit detracting from the REAL subject.
Why would you put down people who don't support an unrighteous war?? Why the f##k would I want to "walk a mile in those shoes"? Yep, most people ARE TOO SMART to go do some stupid crap like that... it's Darwin's evolution at it's finest!!! Hahaha!!! Survival of the smartest. Go on ahead, go to Iraq... so you can support the military-industrial complex, the biggest scam in the history of this or any other nation. Who is really benefitting?? Maybe Halliburton? DynCorp? Aegis? KBR? Carlysle Group?
Hmmmm, maybe.... yeah and those companies are "volunteering" to go over and help rebuild Iraq out of the goodness of their hearts!! Hahahaha... dream on!!
