  • I read once a long time ago about these outfits and no matter how large or how small the law only requires a certain percentage actually goes to the cause. The rest can be taken into administrative costs etc.
    The worse ones are some of the, without naming them, is the "hungry children" funds. My wife and I used to donate quite large sums of money to them until we found out that 90% of the money went to large salaries and office buildings.
    We now only donate to two. Save the Children, More..

  • Unfortunately this is how a lot of charities work.

    It always seems strange to me that celebrities, once they reach a certain level of wealth always end up starting some non-profit or charity, and the reason is usually tax evasion, rather than any charitable motivation.

    I wouldnt give my money to any charity because of this. Even people like Greenpeace end up paying directors 100s of thousands in wages, so thats where your cash goes.

  • Its really sad when people profit on the backs of so many victims ,and do it so poor for noting but a profit . when they become a victim they might reconsider their poor judgement or hopefully end up in jail .

      Bankers don't register as democrats much too base for them.
