One of the best Sci-fi movies ever, the original Alien.. Blade Runner, Planet of the Apes, 2001, Wrath of Khan, Empire Strikes Back are also in my top ten.. Hopefully, Prometheus won't let me down.. I can still remember seeing the poster at the theater when I went to see the original Dawn of the Dead.. Just an egg with, "In space, no one can here you scream" thinking a B movie.. I'm sure it won't with Ridley Scott at the helm.. Wonder when a longer trailer will come out.

@no2cents. Thats a great "sink yourself into" movie. As a teen, it was too slow for me and i didnt watch it again for years. When i finally did, i was able to appreciate every second of it. It's a one of a kind

Pretty good.
Alien is one of the Best sci-fi films for years to come.
Saw it on the big screen in a theatre in Spokane, Wash with my niece in '79.
About twenty people for the show.
Scared the hell out of her.
Going to be hard to beat, IMO.

Kinda hard to respond back to ya No2cents, you have me blocked but The Forever War by Joe Haldemen would be great on the big screen if done right.. Kinda what you're asking for, though it does have aliens..
