Baltimore teenager gets lesson in respect; Baltimore MTA writes another BIG check

BALTIMORE —A video on YouTube shows a Maryland Transit Administration bus driver grab a passenger and struggle with her for about a minute.



An MTA representative said it is aware of this incident, and MTA police are interviewing her.

"The operator involved in this incident has been removed from service pending the outcome of an investigation," MTA spokesman Terry Owens said.

Owens said bus drivers "are instructed to contact a supervisor; call them come to the scene" in situations such as this.

MTA police are also interviewing the student, and they're reviewing the surveillance video from the bus.

  • MTA bus drivers deal with a lot of crap. Kids are unruly and antagonistic. 2-5PM is the worst time to be out in the public; it's like animals let out of their cages.
