  • I really like his points, and agree with almost all of them... Except the whole generational speech. Here's a question for ya... while you were building great things, making technological advances, exploring space and caring for the poor, your generation allowed the government to tighten its grip on liberty and freedom paving the way for horrors like the patriot act and similar legislation.       I think the early baby boomers are the worst generation ever. They gave us the drug culture, they allowed the federal government to institutionalize massive federal debt, and they blew up the housing market and financial system with consumerism, subprime debt and HELOC greed.

  • I remember a time when the US really was a beacon of hope for all cultures of the world to come to and with hard work, succeed. The only people who still spout on about the US being the greatest country in the world and home of the free are the politicians who live in the back pockets of the lobbyists and special interest groups. As sad as it is, the american dream is gone.
