Hippo, Attacked By It's Only Known Predator... *GRAPHIC*
Hippos are the most dangerous animals in the world. This one barely escapes with it's life. Probably died later from it's wounds.
Wait for it...

@DoubledCashew Crocodiles don't tend to mess with them. They'll sit side by side and maybe growl at each other now and then just because. Unless there is a baby hippo near by, in which case they stop being friendly with each other.
Same with elephants and crocodiles.

Hippo's have no predators so it was clear the title was meant to be a joke. Some people didnt get it.

@Colonelingus Baby hippos are vulnerable. Lions will eat baby African elephants too.

@MrSlave I was thinking of a crab or something in the mud but butterflies are just as dangerous I guess ;)

@SSSox88 I wonder what it tastes like... Probably horrible. I mean, if they were like giant pigs, we'd be farming them in America like we do with cows.

@ST0N3PONY Yeah, it's probably nasty... All tough, gamey, and full of gristle. Can you imagine if it was common to have Hippo roasts at block parties? An adult would probably take like 36 hours to cook if you were doing it rotisserie style.

A swarm of butterflies, in a coordinated attack, can carry a full size hippo to their lair where, with pupa and larvae, they dismember the beast in an orgy of violence. It's very frightening.

@trialdog Hah... Yeah my parrot is the same way. Will put him in his outdoor cage in the sun, and if a butterfly floats by he flips out and screams for help.

You mean, Japanese tourists with cameras are the hippo's only known predator? They ARE pretty scarey.

I'm not surprised ..... if the a Tornada was the cause of the "Butterfly Effect", can you imagine the damage it would do to a baby hippo ?
