Secret Right Wing Money Spent On Deceptive Ads

"An examination of presidential-election advertising spending by the top four secret big-money political groups -- all of them right-wing -- found that 85 percent of their money over a recent six-month period went to ads that independent fact-checkers determined were in some way deceptive. The Annenberg Public Policy Center calculated that those top four groups spent $29.3 million on advertising related to the presidential race from December 1, 2011 to June 1, 2012...".* Could these ads give Mitt Romney a win over President Obama in 2012? The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

  • This guy needs to shut the fuck up.....did he complain when Obama raised more than $350 million more dollars than John McCain did in '08? I seriously doubt it.....fat fuck. I love when he had Breitbart on and Cenk was such a pussy because Breitbart was looking for a war.

  • If people believe ads, then that's perfect evidence that a well founded republic with a democratic function is always superior to a democracy.

  • Oh I see! The young turd talks about deceptive ads by republicans but doesn't state what the deception was according to AP, factcheck.org, Washington Post, and politifact. Aren't these "independent" groups left leaning??? Not a very credible source if AP says it!

  • They're 'deceptive' ads because there's nothing to complain about - all is perfect under the benevolent Democratic administration....didn't you know that?

  • Americans don't fully understand democracy so when it is subverted like this, they don't even know why they should be upset.

Read other commentators here, make stupid comments about the reporters name or whether they like him or not - juvenile stuff is the LL norm.
