MRAP on route clearance in Afghanistan
On May 29th, members of first platoon, 288th Sapper Company conducted a route clearance near the village of Kakarak in the Uruzgan province of Afghanistan. This B-roll footage was shot primarily from a GoPro Hero 2 helmet cam mounted on the top front of an MRAP Buffalo. There is also footage from inside the truck as the crane arm uses its water and air cannon to safely check a suspected IED site from inside the vehicle.
